Welcome! I love talking about au pairs, whether it is our family au pair or just the au pair program in general.
See below for some basic information or PLEASE feel free to call me with your questions. If you would like to see my latest blog postings, please go to the Latest News and Information page.

Looking for Affordable Childcare that YOU Customize Around Your Family’s Busy Schedule?
Hosting an au pair is a wonderful childcare solution for busy working families! You determine the hours your au pair works. You also get peace of mind and reduced stress levels because you know your child is being engaged by a caring and committed individual in the comfort of home so you do not need to worry about getting to the daycare by a certain time or what you will do when your child gets sick or school closes unexpectedly, not to mention summertime.

The cost for an au pair averages $345/week per family, not per child. For this cost, you not only get childcare designed around your family’s schedule, but you also get added benefits including: the opportunity for your children (and you) to learn about a different culture and language, assistance with light household duties related to the children including laundry and mealtime preparation, someone to oversee and enrich your children’s playtime with international games, stories and activities, a reliable way for your children to get to places like school, practices, doctor appointments and others.

I would be happy to send you information about the au pair program and/or speak with you directly to answer your questions. Please contact me at dariece.rau@lcc.culturalcare.com or 703-944-3907. Additionally, below are videos you can watch so you can see just how great au pairs can be.

Is an au pair the right childcare choice for your family? Maybe. When you see the video of our Au Pair of the Year nominees, you will see why thousands of families across the U.S. choose to have the care, commitment and dedication that an au pair can bring to a family like yours.

Cultural Care Au Pair received more than 150 nominations for the “Au Pair of the Year” Award, three of which we sent to the International Au Pair Association for final consideration. (Each au pair agency is allowed to submit just three finalists.) Watch our movie to hear about Cultural Care Au Pair’s three finalists, Simone, Ana and Alina and to see photos and the names of ALL of the nominees from our host families. Thanks to all of those host families who submitted nominations, and congratulations to each and every Cultural Care au pair who was nominated. You are all winners in our book!

If the video is choppy, please use the link above to watch our movie.

Videos of Some Available Au Pairs
If you would like to see videos of au pairs who are looking for host families in the U.S. please go to www.aupairvideos.com. Many au pairs put together videos so potential host families can learn a little bit more about them.

We Love Our “Mannies”!

Parents who host male au pairs are quick to share that their au pairs offer their family everything that female au pairs do and more. Cultural Care is one of the few au pair programs that recruit male au pairs and we are very proud of our male candidates! Here are some reasons to consider hosting a male au pair. Watch our movie.

Hi

Thank you for your interest in the University Au Pair Program at C.W. Post Long Island University. Since 1999 we have now helped over 16000 Au pairs meet their educational requirement through our weekend courses.

All of our courses have limited enrollment, so please encourage your au pairs to register early! Spots for this fall are already filling. We are working on our spring schedule at this time and should be available the end of October.

I am attaching a registration form to pass along to anyone that might be interested. Also if anyone you know that might want to be on our mailing list please have them call us and they will also receive information on all of our semesters.

If I can be of any more help to you, your area coordinators, host families and especially the Au Pairs I can be reached at 516-299-2359 or visit us on our web site at http://www.liu.edu/CWPost/About/Offices/Au-Pair.aspx .

My Staff and I are looking forward to working with you.
